The first time I met Eric + Kelsey was a little over a year ago. We met to talk about their wedding day and so I could learn a little more about the two of them. As soon as we were done talking we explored around Geneva, NY for their engagement session.
Read MoreI’m so lucky to find such wonderful couples and thankful that my friends and family bring me to some amazing people. My friend Lindsay (also a future bride of mine), met Alex and Nick at SUNY Geneseo. These two are truly the definition of an old married couple and appreciate the simple things in life.
Read MoreThe crazy thing about the world of weddings is never knowing what could happen. The weather is unpredictable, knowing if things will go as planned or if you just have to go with the flow throughout the day. Every wedding is different from one another and the love between my couples and their guests makes each wedding a special experience for me.
Read MoreThe next few days are going to be full of weddings and photo sessions and I completely blame the peak of fall foliage nearing. I have THREE weddings AND six sessions jammed packed into the next ten days so I will be fulled on caffeine and power naps. Today is also my parent’s 32nd anniversary so I thought it was fitting to blog about one incredible wedding in honor of my two biggest role models.
Read MoreIt’s been over a year since my last wedding at Tailwater Lodge, but the wait was completely worth it. Steve + Sarah both grow up in Oswego, NY so I instantly connected with them. For those who don’t know I lived in Oswego for over 6 years so it’s my second home and will always be one of my favorite places to visit.
Read MoreLife has been pretty crazy lately for me, and with October…. aka. fall foliage approaching, it’s about to get even more hectic. For John + Lindsey’s wedding I got to experience quite the drive to get to a new view AND town, that I’ve never been to before.
Read MoreI still remember the day Sarah pointed out Sean from across the room. We were both working behind the counter at the Webster Ice Rink’s snack bar and Sean was helping out with skate rentals. It’s crazy thinking this happened over 10 years ago and now you are husband and wife!
Read MoreEvery once in awhile I get a wedding inquiry that stands out to me over the rest. Of course I always look at the date to see if I’m available, but I love reading the little stories some of my couples leave for me. Craig + Brieana first met on eHarmony and on their first date they found out that they were both planning the 40th anniversary for each of their parents. Come to find out on their second date that their parents were married on the same exact date... August 25th! Five years later and now they all share anniversaries with one another. How special is that?!!

Read MoreWhere do I begin with this wedding day.... Mitch + Anne's special day was a lot different than most. They rented this beautiful lake house for the whole week and did everything themselves. Anne's sister made her stunning cake and all of the food, Anne's friend did all the hair and makeup for the girls, the bridesmaids and other special guests put together their decorations. Everything was done by them and the ones that love them most... not to mention the most adorable ring bearer and flower girl!
Read MoreWeddings are full of the unexpected. It might seem stressful to some people, but I live for the feeling of not knowing what's going to come from a wedding day. For Andy + Sara's wedding, I began at a gorgeous home right outside of Rochester. There I spent time photographing Sara's beautiful details and probably one of my favorite bridesmaid dresses in a long time... not to mention they had pockets!!!
Read MoreOne amazing thing about living in the Rochester area is being so close to the Finger Lakes!!! The weekend before this wedding I was photographing a wedding at Sonnenberg Gardens and was amazed by the beauty. We didn't get to explore down by Canandaigua Lake, but I knew the following weekend I'd be over that way.
Read MoreFor the longest time I have LOVED the world of art. When I was a little girl I had an obsession with coloring and painting, which led to me becoming the most artistic of my high school senior class. I kept my passion going by majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Photography at SUNY Oswego. Funny thing is Brit has a very similar story! Brit is a super talented creative and followed her love for art to R.I.T. and little did she know that would also led her to the love of her life, Ray!
