Red Barn 20 - Central NY Wedding | Matt + Jaimie

The crazy thing about the world of weddings is never knowing what could happen. The weather is unpredictable, knowing if things will go as planned or if you just have to go with the flow throughout the day. Every wedding is different from one another and the love between my couples and their guests makes each wedding a special experience for me. Before Matt + Jaimie’s wedding day I only exchanged a couple phone calls and emails so I wanted to make sure they were comfortable throughout the day. As soon as I walk into the hotel room where Jaimie was getting ready I knew it was going to be an amazing day. Although the weather kept changing every other minute, I never felt a drop of rain that entire day (which is crazy because the forecast said it was going to rain!!) Jaimie was excited to get the first look started so her and Matt could send time together. I found the most perfect spot for the two of them at their venue, Red Barn 20 in Cazenovia, NY. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the day, and getting pranked by the maid of honor and a groomsman (which I’m still laughing about!) It always means a little extra when couples put personal touches into their wedding days. Matt rolled into the wedding ceremony with his group of guys on a vintage fire truck and Jaimie trotted into the ceremony with her dad on horse and carriage!!!! It made for some fun photos with their bridal party and all the guests enjoyed taking pictures with the fire truck. Towards the end of the evening the overcast sky even turned into the most magical sunset… something that hasn’t happened for many of my couples.
