WHAT LOCATIONS DO YOU RECOMMEND?
That completely depends on who you are as a couple. More outdoorsy, adventurous couples I recommend a local park or somewhere near the water. Couples who prefer more architecture may like something downtown. Taking a look at my blog may give you some ideas too. Ask what’s personal to you as a couple… did you meet somewhere special? Do you have a sentimental spot that no one else has access too?! Give me a list and I’ll help you out!!! Finding a semi-private area will allow you to soak in the magical moment, but we can always go to another location after the proposal happens.
HOW MANY OUTFITS? WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
When it comes to your proposal, it depends on if the person is aware they are taking photos or if it is a complete surprise. I can give you tips/help for both options!!! CLICK HERE for outfit tips!!!
Pro tip: if you can avoid having sunglasses, phones/things in pockets and purses on shoulders etc. it will help take away distractions for the big moment!
CAN WE BRING THE PETS?
Yes, of course! Bring along your pets!!! I recommend bringing some treats + a squeak toy unless you want to hear me make some crazy noises! Please let me know ahead of time if a pet will be coming along. Some locations are not pet friendly. Bringing along an extra person helps too.
WHAT’S YOUR TURNAROUND TIME? HOW MANY IMAGES DO I GET?
My turnaround time for a proposal is within 3 days of the event. The amount of images depends on which collection you select and you can digitally download and print the edited images on your own.
WHERE SHOULD I PRINT MY IMAGES?
I highly recommend printing from Mpix. Please avoid Shutterfly and pay the extra money to get QUALITY prints. I can also create an album for you for an additional cost.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE HAVE BAD WEATHER?
You’ll have the option to reschedule, but I may have very limited dates available. I always have ten clear umbrellas in my car if you want to embrace the rain OR we can move to an indoor location with good natural lighting. Certain locations also have semi-covered spots too. If the weather is too hot or cold, I will reach out to you with other dates I have free and you can decide if you want to move your session.
