The Lake House on Canandaigua - Finger Lakes Proposal | Jake + Dorothy

I received an email (about a month ago) asking about setting up a surprise proposal. Their vision was doing it at the new wedding venue, The Lake House on Canandaigua, which I highly recommend checking out!!! Funny thing was I ended up booking a room there in July so I was already planning on visiting on a weekend in August. The weather was so nuts all day... high winds, unexpected rain, but when I say everything turned out absolutely perfect... IT WAS PERFECT. The sun came out for us creating a beautiful sunset and my goodness was it incredible being a part of another proposal!!! Come to find his soon to be fiancée has been following my work for awhile and was so happy he knew to ask me to be a part of capturing their proposal. I'm soooo beyond happy for you both and can't wait to talk more about your big day!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
