I still remember the day Ashli emailed me about getting engaged! It was a few days after Christmas and I had decided I wasn’t going to take on any more weddings for 2019. I read her email and saw she knew one of my favorite couples, Steve + Sarah, and that I was available for their wedding day. I broke my limit and took on an extra wedding for 2019 and I’m so glad I did!!! For their engagement session I traveled back to one of my favorite places… OSWEGO!!! I always love traveling back to where I lived for six years during my college days and getting to know them and their adorable pups was so much fun.

For their wedding day, we met at their venue where the girls were finishing up getting ready. The both decided against doing a first look together so we made sure to get some of the pictures where they both didn’t need to be in the photo out of the way. Although they wanted to wait to see each walking down the aisle, Ashli really wanted to do a first look with her dad! I’m sure sure everyone was crying!! I think father daughter first looks are just as special since they are the first man to ever love you! The weather was a perfect high 70s with some clouds in the sky kind of a day (my favorite)!! After the ceremony we finished up the rest of the photos and began the party! Thank you so much for having me be your wedding photographer and I’m so thankful that I had you both as one of my 2019 couples!!! I hope you have a wonderful honeymoon and enjoy looking at all these photos together before you leave in a couple days!
