The Arbor Loft - Rochester Wedding | Derek + Michelle

It’s a pretty exciting time of the year for me because wedding season is starting up again!!! My first wedding of the year was back in February so I’ve been patiently waiting for April to get here for more of my 2019 season. Michelle first found me through a Rochester wedding facebook group and I’m so beyond thankful she reached out to me. From the moment we all met for their engagement session to even after the wedding day, Michelle + Derek are honestly two of the sweetest people I have ever worked with. It’s funny how a past bride of mine comment that Michelle looked like a Disney princess because she truly has the kindest heart… no wonder Derek loves her so much!!! These two cuties met at R.I.T. during their freshman orientation and even got engaged on campus! (CLICK HERE to view their engagement sessions at RIT)

For their wedding day we started at a local Airbnb that had the best light ever!!!! I added the link in the vendors if you are interested in booking it for your Rochester wedding. After the girls finished getting ready, we headed to the Memorial Art Gallery (a couple minute walk from their apartment) to set up their first look! Soon after we took a quick drive to their amazing venue…. THE ARBOR LOFT!!!! There we finished up the bridal party photos and took all their family pictures before the ceremony. After the ceremony and cocktail hour, Derek + Michelle wanted to escape for a little bit for their golden hour portraits. It didn’t nearly compare to the sunset for their engagement session, but it was still beautiful out! We walked around the streets to a nearby parking garage to get a better view of the city and sunset. Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your wedding day and although I’m incredibly sad you are both moving across the country…. I’m excited for your next adventure in life! Now I know who to visit if I ever make it to Seattle!!! Congratulations Derek + Michelle!!!! I hope you enjoy all your photos!
