MKJ Farms - Central NY Wedding | Johnny + Michaela

I love experiencing new wedding venues because I don't always know what to expect. It keeps the day exciting for me and keeps the creative juices going all day long. MKJ Farms had so much to offer! All the ladies got ready in the house on top of the hill and the views were INCREDIBLE!!!! We took a majority of the bridal party and wedding portraits at this spot. After all the bridesmaids and Michaela were done with hair and makeup we set up a first look with the bride's father. Not many bride's request this, but since Michaela and Johnny weren't doing a first look we took advantage of the opportunity! He surprised her with a beautiful pair of earrings and a necklace. We all loaded into the MKJ Farm's bus and headed over to their ceremony location. One thing about their wedding day was it was really hot and after their first dances everyone did an outfit change (which I highly recommend to any couple who sees over 85 degrees in a venue without A/C). Some of my favorite parts of the day included the best man "proposing" to the groom to be his future best man in 2019, the barn cats who you will see featured in the photos below and the FIREWORKS!!!
