It's always exciting getting to working in new locations, but in this case I was also working in a new area! I've never worked in the Fingerlakes area since I have moved here and I can definitely say.... I'm a huge fan. I met Leah at her friend's house which was right on Canandaigua Lake.

I thought it was a nice idea to enter something this year so I gave a certificate to who ever the lucky winner was for my "basket" (mine was just an envelope and some business cards). A couple months later my winner reached out to me asking about what she could do and that she had a high school senior that coming year!

The temperature finally decided to cool down and wasn't the typical high 80 degree weather. I loved all of Bethany's outfits and she definitely picked colors that complimented her lovely blue eyes.

Natalie drove all the way from Baldwinsville to met me at Fallbrook to take her senior portraits! It was another really hot day so I was concerned she might get too warm or her hair or makeup might not stay in tack. But of course, I was worried for no reason thanks to her sister who did an amazing job helping her prep for her photo shoot!

This time he was just dressed a little bit different. We met at Fallbrook and took some regular photos at first and then had a little more fun!
Read MoreQuite often I get emails from parents of the seniors I work with being concerned how they might do during their session. It gives me a nice heads up, but I honestly love working with each individual senior. Each one of them is so different and I love hearing their story and future plans after they finish school. Jack's smile made me smile behind the camera!
Read MoreFinally had some time to edit some of my seniors after a crazy past few weekends of photographing multiple weddings!!! August is always my busiest month, but now that is over I can breathe! Mary was another one of my seniors at Wayne Central and this girl is super involved in sports!!! Gorgeous and talented! We met at the George Eastman house and had a great time exploring around.
Read MoreFor quite awhile, my family has known the Saba family. When I was back in high school, I actually drew a portrait of the three siblings!!! My mom is very close with their mom and soccer is a huge sport in both our families. Bryce is the youngest and now a senior in high school! He is super active and involved in multiple sports. Poor Bryce injured his foot a few weeks prior to our session and originally he wasn't allowed to wear anything on the bad foot.
Read MoreFor the past 6 years, Oswego has been my second home. That session was very bittersweet because it's one of my final session in this amazing place before I move to the Fingerlakes region! Makayla was one of my senior model reps this year and besides being extremely photogenic and absolutely beautiful, she has the sweetest heart and a bright future! We went back to where we first met two years ago, but this time it was for Alex. We walked around the Webster Arboretum with his parents and the cutest corgi!

I grew up knowing her older sister and even spent some time at their house during play dates. Alyssa and I ran out of time last summer because of her busy schedule, BUT we ended up having time in May to set up a session!

Read MoreOne of my favorite things about photography sessions is a new location! I met Angelena at her family's camp and found some great beachy scenery. You would have thought I drove to Cape Cod or the Thousand Islands, but this was only a hour away from Oswego!
