Pomona at Blue Barn - Rochester Wedding | Matt + Kacie

I’ve been counting down the days to finally have a wedding at Pomona at Blue Barn and my first wedding at their new venue was Matt + Kacie’s. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. The weather was perfect and everything ran so smoothly. I think a lot has to do with how easy-going they both are and I was obsessed with all their custom touches they created for their wedding decor! All of the signs were created by Kacie and Matt did a ton of the work as well!!! Everything took place at Pomona (something I love about having everything all in one place). The girls all got ready in the bridal suite upstairs and the guys were in the groom’s room downstairs. Not many venues offer a space for both sides of the bridal party to get ready, but this venue does!!! Once everyone was ready, we set up a father-daughter first look before Matt + Kacie saw each other for their own first look. After the first looks, we did all of their bridal party photos and family pictures. I know first looks aren’t for everyone, but it allows you to take all the time in the world for photos and you get to enjoy more of the day together. I’m nearing my way to 100 weddings and believe me when I say this…. THE DAY WILL FLY BY!!!

The ceremony took place on their covered patio (great for a sunny or rainy day). After the ceremony everyone enjoyed cocktail hour before the real party began. Golden hour was just as amazing and it made me so happy they were looking forward to this time together. I personally look forward to golden hour for the magical lighting, but it’s a great time to spend away from all the craziness too. I’m excited to be returning to Pomona this weekend and later in October!!! Be sure to check out their venue if you are planning a 2021 wedding!!! Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. Ollies!!!
