Kershaw Park + Canandaigua City Pier - Finger Lakes Engagement Session | Andrew + Caitlin

The past month has been a crazy journey…. I’m processing that 2021 is going to be the year I have to change how I tackle my profession and change how I handle my workload. I typically take on 25-30 weddings at the very most and have only done 31 weddings in one previous year. Although a select few couples are choosing to get married this year (like Andrew and Caitlin), a majority are needing new dates for 2021. I officially closed my wedding calendar for new clients next year unless it’s a winter wedding because I’m over the capacity I typically book. I need to preserve all the rest of my availability for who I already have booked for this year in case they choose to postpone as well. Luckily, my couples have been so incredible during this process and I’m hopeful the year will turn around for us!!!

Andrew + Caitlin from the very beginning knew exactly what they wanted!!! We first met at Village Bakery right at the very beginning of all the COVID-19 news last November and they always knew they wanted a small and intimate wedding. They will be getting married on a private dock overlooking Canandaigua Lake with their closest family and friends. I’m so excited for your wedding next week and I’m so happy we were able to squeeze in your engagement session with your adorable Sheepadoodle puppy, Toby!!! See you guys in a few day!!! I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!
