Hurd Orchards - Rochester Engagement Session | Leland + Lyn

Normally engagement sessions happen in the beginning of wedding planning process right after a couple books me, but for Leland + Lyn it was a little different!! When the owner of Wolf Oak Acres (one of my all time favorite venues) reached out to me about a couple who just got engaged and needed vendors, I was really hoping I’d get the chance to talk to them. Luckily they booked me earlier this summer, only TWO and a half months before their big day! Their story practically matches my two biggest role models, my parents. Both got engaged in early July and married that same October!

We met last week to do their engagement session and it all made sense to me why they did it that way. The both knew what they wanted and didn’t wanted to wait another whole year to be husband + wife. It was so easy to see how in love they are with one another and Lyn might be one of the sweetest human beings ever. Speaking of sweet…. they also brought along their lovable pup, Honey!!! Since they live in the Brockport area I wanted to explore a new location I’ve never been to before, Hurd Orchards. Thank you for hanging out with me and I can’t wait to see you guy again in a little over a week!!! I’m so excited to photograph your intimate wedding with your closest friends and family!
