One thing I love about being a wedding photographer is connecting with my incredible couples and their favorite people. I first met David + Samantha at one of my 2016 weddings where they were a part of the bridal party of David’s best man. The two of them were married at the Del Lago Resort & Casino earlier this month and something amazing about their wedding date was it was also their 10 YEAR anniversary with one another too!!! Winter wedding are becoming more popular each year so I was excited that it had an additional meaning behind it.

We started the day in the bridal suite where the girls were getting ready for the big day. Although it was a pretty chilly day, everyone endured the cold for some fun pictures. We had some biodegradable confetti (aka. our way to add some fake snow) and a smoke bomb. Thanks to the best man we all had some serious laughs while taking those photos!!! Winter is hard to predict and sadly their hopes for pretty white snow wasn’t met, but we made the best out of what we were given!! Their first look was so sweet and all day long I could easily tell how much David + Samantha love one another. Not many of my couples can be found dancing all night long, but these two definitely had a blast thanks to their DJ, Black Tie Entertainment. Happy tears, funny stories and so much love filled their wedding day and I’m so excited to photograph more love stories starting again in April!
