Cincinnatus, NY - Central NY Engagement Session | Derrek + MacKenzie

One thing I love about all my friends getting engaged is doing their engagement sessions for them. It means a little more when I know the couple behind the camera because I know their relationship and back story. MacKenzie and I have been friends for a few years now so I was really excited when she asked me to photograph their engagement session. Unfortunately, I was already booked for their special day, BUT it catching up and seeing one of my favorite dogs in the world, little Ms. Riley!!! For Derrek + MacKenzie’s session we met at their adorable log cabin home in Cincinnatus, NY. This is where Derrek proposed to MacKenzie and it’s the start of their new lives together so it was the perfect location… not to mention we had over 33 acres to work with. Since we were at their house, we had easy excess to their fur babies, Riley and Drako! After playing with some pups and smoke bombs, we took a quick drive to chase the sunset.
