Yesterday I officially finished editing my last wedding of 2018 and now I’m completely caught up on all my editing!!!! It’s been FOREVER since I’ve had no editing on my to do list and it feels AMAZING!!! Minus a handful of sessions in December, I have a lot more time on my hand to relax and plan for next year. I’m excited to be posting my “Best of 2018 | Weddings” very soon and of course I’ll be doing one for my engagement sessions and high school seniors.

I can’t say I’m a fan of snow, but picture wise…. it’s pretty amazing. A lot of my couples know I love an overcast for the even lighting and same goes for snow!!!!

This was only my second time being involved in someone proposing, so I was excited and eager on my drive from Rochester to Watkins Glen. Many of you know I’m a night owl and up til 1 or 2 am every night… reason why I’m always responding at midnight to emails. For John + Allison’s engagement session we had to meet early in the morning due to their traveling schedule and other wedding planning tasks. Surprisingly many of my couples live out of state so we have limited times when we can fit in their engagements sessions.

Photographers who say they are never nervous are secretly hiding something because I’m not afraid to say that I can be at times. One of my most important stages to photographing a wedding day is the initial meeting of my brides and grooms… aka. the engagement session.
Read MoreThis month and last month have been jam-packed with engagement sessions!!! On top of all the weddings I have had a pretty crazy Fall. For Matt + Kacie’s engagement session we started at their family’s cottage minutes away from Hamlin Beach State Park. There we took some pictures with their lovable pups, Brooklyn + Munson, before heading to the state park.
