Weddings are full of the unexpected. It might seem stressful to some people, but I live for the feeling of not knowing what's going to come from a wedding day. For Andy + Sara's wedding, I began at a gorgeous home right outside of Rochester. There I spent time photographing Sara's beautiful details and probably one of my favorite bridesmaid dresses in a long time... not to mention they had pockets!!! Soon after I headed over to their venue, Jerris Wadsworth Wedding Barn, to meet up with Andy + his groomsmen before setting up the first look. After taking some family portraits and all of the bridal party shots, we decided to visit the ceremony spot before all the guests arrived. Although a wedding day is super busy and it's hard for couple's to see everything come together... it's moments like this that I really appreciate. If you have time to visit your ceremony and/or reception space before guests arrive, it's worth taking some time to do so. You spend so much time planning your wedding so seeing it all completely done is surreal!

The ceremony was absolutely breath-taking and the willow trees were so romantic + dreamy. Their reception had a couple of fun surprises. One being Andy's best man and friend performing their first dance AND Sara surprising Andy with a creative dance with all her ladies. All of my couples hope for an amazing golden hour, but not all are as lucky as these two. The lighting was incredible and my little photographer heart was bursting with happiness as we walking around with their venue.
